COMPUTER GAMES

I slept the whole day but my throat still hurts, my voice is still sexy, my nose is still blocked and I am still grumpy. But something cheered me up cos I found my favourite MS-DOS game online and downloaded it.

Last time I didnt have a computer when I was young. The computer cost a BOMB and it was only in the MS-DOS mode only. I hated MS-DOS cos you have to type in the words to get a command to the computer. There are no icons or windows based system where you can click using a mouse and access the computer. Most of the commands to the computer including games, applications. I remember seeing my cousins Jason and Douglas typing in the commands like cd://windows, cd:/windows/games.....etc in this big black box where it covers the whole screen with a black background and the words are in wide with the "cursor" blinking on a row neatly....

The 1st few games I ever saw on a computer were Double Dragon, Mission Impossible, Dungeons & Dragons and Alleycat. I cannot remember much about Mission Impossible cos I refused to. The name of the game already tells you why..... cos its quite difficult to play and at my age of 5 or 6, the game was really like impossible to me..... hahahaha.... graphics not very nice too, so no point remembering it....

Double dragon is quite cool cos you could use 2 or 3 players and they fight together against the enermies and I really liked it as well. This game can be found at arcades and I normally play it when I get my hands on 1.....

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) were not very easy to play too, and its jus like another similiar game to DIABLO now. I dun mind playing diablo, cos its like warcraft, all RPG (role-playing Games). The graphics for D&D is quite good for back then, but now when I see it again, erm.... I still prefer diablo and warcraft now.... heehee.

Alleycat is very much in my mind. Cos I always liked cats and this game is about a cat who tries to sneak into the different windows to perform different tasks like catching fish in a fishtank, catching a bird after knocking it off and freeing it from its cage, catch the mice in the HUGE cheese, get the test-tube and avoiding the spiders guarding it, stealing dog food from a few sleeping dogs and at the same time avoiding the broom who will chase you away and the dog who will fight with you. If you manage to complete the task, then you can jump into the window and try to win a girl-kitty's heart..... and the graphics are soooooo nice..... its still nice to me and I feel very happy when I get the fireworks...... cos this game is really bright and its based in mostly purple and pink and blue and black..... very nice and bright colours.....

I am soooooooo happy that I downloaded my alleycat game today..... YEAH.... I feel like a little gal again....
