FOOD!!!

Sun I went for dinner with my dad and my 3 aunts. Junior didnt go cos he was too tired so I brought him home to sleep.....

We went to Spring Court (永春园) at Chinatown. I also dunno why my usually stingy aunty wan to treat us to dinner, maybe cos there was a promotion for peking ducks at 78cents only, so I went lor...... got food I am surely there one..... The whole 5course dinner with beancurd in crab sauce, brocolli & mushrooms, Soup, Garlic and Ginger Prawns, Fish with sweet and sour sauce AND Peking Duck, cost only $98++++.....

After dinner at Yong Chun Yuan, we went opposite to Yue Hua for some shopping. I've never been into Yue hua before and the things there are not very cheap ok...... the silk things there are at least a few hundred dollars..... So many things I dare not touch ah.....

Yue Hua has 5 storeys. 1st level is clothes and silk stuff and some medical neccesaties. 2nd level is tea, household items and food stuff, 3rd level is stationery, toys, antiques, decors for the house, artifacts and vases and and calligraphy and lotsa chinese things tat I also dunno how to explain (very ex hor)..... 4th level is supermarket but more on foreign stuff like japanese and korea food..... 5th storey they were having an exhibition on chinese herbs and tonics.... the most expensive one I saw was the cordyceps ginseng...... 1 tael is $2444..... Wa Lao, I can buy 2 juniors with that and still got money left to feed them for quite a while.....

Then I saw this and I was horrified...... cos I was reminded of BAMBI.....

Its a deer penis..... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww.... gross..... the poor poor deer..... got its penis cut off..... not cheap ok.... $318 for this thing..... poor poor deer..... luckily my bambi is a gal no penis...... (bambi is the name of my new daughter)

After buying 1 tin of tea..... jus for this someone...... cos she said she seldom see tea coming in tins anymore...... and when I saw tea, I am reminded of her....... so I bought this tin of tea for her...... and after we have digested our yong chun yuan dinner, we went to Gong He Guan for desserts......

Kwai Lin Gao...... Last time it was traditionally made from Tortise shells that is how the dessert name arrived from....... but now it is traditionally made from 24 types of different herbs that are blended together to soothe your throat and has many beauty effects like pretty, smooth and pure face.....etc.....

I tot it soothed my sore throat but actually the pain was gone from the cold cos it was kept in the fridge..... when my throat thawed, the pain came back again..... $5.50 per bowl, you can choose from the original or the menthol one..... I chose the menthol one of cos.....

And after that I went to cash in some money and when I went thru my notes........ I SAW THIS....

This $50 note starts with 9 and ends with 9. My aunt said it was good luck. And she also passed me a red packet that has this in it....

This $5 note's number is much nicer than the $50 one. And since she gave me this $5 note, I must keep it for good luck..... and so I decided to give the $50 note to my dad..... heehee.... It will bring you good luck..... and to my besties and good friends out there, If ah ber really very lucky and manage to get more of such lucky money, I will give you a red packet with it in it..... pls dun spend it away.....
