Ber is down with fever and flu. Started on sat afternoon and has been haunting me since...
The journey of life....
"Life is a process. We work our way to our ultimate goal in the end - to achieve success, to achieve personal satisfaction, to achieve wat we wan in life.
Some people ignore the process of achieving the goal and only look at the goal itself. In the end, they might achieve the goal and yet be unhappy cos there are no one around them to celebrate and enjoy their success with them because along the way, they ignore the process and neglect the people around them, so when they reach their goal, no one is there with them. If they did not achieve their goal, they would have no shoulders to cry on and no one around to be with them in their time of need....
Some people enjoy the process of working towards to their goal. They enjoy the company of friends and family and would put on hold their chase of the goal temporarily to simply indulge in the pleasures that these friends and family bring. They work hard, but they play hard too. In the end, they might achieve the goal and would be happy because they tribute it to the support of their friends and family along the way. Even if they do not achieve their goal due to unforseen reasons, they have their friends and family beside them at the end of the day..... so these people are the real achievers....
No matter wat we are doing, we should never neglect our friends and family along the way, because you never know when you need them in your time of need....."
Haha, maybe my brain is burning up and my body is crashing cos I only seem to talk nonsence when my body is going haywire and going on a strike....
Chatted on MSN with a friend who is working in BKK. His MSN nick read Location: Sadness. Out of curiousity (+concern also la), I asked him wat happened. He told me his gf died in the recent phuket crash.
I was quite shocked cos this was his 2nd gf he lost over the years. His 1st gf whom he loved dearly and wanted to wed, died of cancer (I think its leukemia) years back, then his sister died of an allergic reaction to antibiotics (I dun wan to mention so much in case he's reading my blog and I dun wish to open up wounds again....)
In short I would like to say, its not easy to have and then lose someone dear to you, whether you lose them temporarily with your flared temper or whether you lose them permanently from the surface of the earth. But for those who can still salvage the people dear to you, pls do so while there is still time. For those who are deceased, they are not totally gone. They are still living in your memories and they were a part of you, and will always be a part of you. So when you do miss them, relive your memories like I do.... and smile, cos memories are some of the sweetest treasures we have on earth....
PS: My condolences to you...
